ICE CUBE TIMING RELAY - FUNCTIONALITY IN A SMALL PACKAGE

Northfield, IL, January 16, 2008 -
SE Relays LLC announces the new Magnecraft TDR782 Time Delay relay - a cost effective, time delay relay in a small package.

The TDR782 provides power on delay - the most commonly programmed timing function for industrial relay applications. Incorporating a single function simplifies programming, minimizes space requirements and reduces cost. Despite the small package, the TDR782 can handle numerous applications utilizing one of seven timing scales for precise programming with durations ranging from 0.1 second up to 100 hours.

The power on delay time function postpones power transfer when the control voltage is applied to the relay. Applications such as automatic hand dryers with motion sensors utilize this format to minimize false starts until a known and required state exists to warrant the initiation of current.

Mike O'Donnell, Magnecraft Product Marketing Manager, says; "The 4-pole capability combined with the small size and price of the TDR782 provide an excellent option for customers that needs to delay the control of multiple circuits."

The TDR782 is available with DPDT and 4PDT contact configurations. This unique offering allows a customer to switch up to 4 circuits using a single relay. To facilitate installation this timer relay utilizes the same socket interface as an industry standard, 4-pole control "ice cube" relay.

The TDR782 is socket mountable and accepts several accessories, including hold down clips and socket modules.

ICE CUBE SOCKETS INCREASE FUNCTIONALITY

Northfield, IL, December 3, 2007 - SE Relays LLC announces upgraded features on the Magnecraft 782 Series Ice Cube Sockets to provide a complete solution for plug-in relays. They are UL listed when mated to Magnecraft relays.

Ease of use and safety are the primary benefits of the complete relay system. The sockets incorporate finger safe terminals to protect operators from live circuits. The sockets also have an option to add plug-in modules to protect the relays against power surges. This feature serves as an inexpensive and valuable insurance option to maintain reliable operation.

Along with optional accessories, these RoHS compliant sockets provide a modular system that will meet all your plug-in relay requirements in a package that is both visually appealing and functionally superior to other alternatives.

The internal coil bus jumper system connects adjacent sockets and eliminates the need to insert stripped jumper wires into coil terminals. It installs quickly without the use of any tools. Other accessories such as ejector clips and write-on identification tags also simplify installation and maintenance.

Mike O'Donnell, Magnecraft Marketing Product Manager, says; "Magnecraft sockets for the plug-in relays simplify panel creation. And the ability to add such a wide variety of accessories increases the functionality to meet numerous applications."

The 782 Series Sockets combines a large arsenal of options with the quality that the Magnecraft brand represents to provide a one stop solution for your power management system.

INDUSTRY FIRST - SLIM LINE SOLID
STATE RELAY

Northfield, IL, October 23, 2007 - SE Relays LLC announces the new Magnecraft 861 Solid State Relay Series - a modular RoHS compliant model capable of switching up to 15 Amps (DC) and 10 Amps (AC).

The 861 SSR Series simplifies usage, extends product life and protects itself from internal failure. Heat sinking capability is built into the relay to eliminate the need for heat dissipation calculations and the procurement of an additional device to handle this function. The compact, 17.5 mm modular design along with the integrated heat sink saves valuable real estate on din rails and panels. The 861 SSR Series provides flexible mounting options in a single part number to accommodate any design format.

Three key features - 100% solid state operation, an integrated snubber, isolated input and output circuits - ensure product reliability. The 861 SSR Series is the only slim line relay available that does not have any moving parts which provides the added benefit of silent operation.

Mike O'Donnell, Magnecraft Marketing Product Manager, says; "The high current rating combined with the solid state circuitry extends product life and improves performance relative to electro-mechanical relays. The 861 SSR Series is ideal for applications that demand reliability such as medical equipment and lighting."

The Magnecraft 861 Series relays offer flexible mounting options. The relays can mount to panels with the extendable tabs as well as to DIN rails. Finger-safe terminals are a standard feature to protect operators from live currents and accidental shocks.
