SE Relays LLC announces the new Magnecraft TDR782 Time Delay relay - a cost effective, time delay relay in a small package.
The TDR782 provides power on delay - the most commonly programmed timing function for industrial relay applications. Incorporating a single function simplifies programming, minimizes space requirements and reduces cost. Despite the small package, the TDR782 can handle numerous applications utilizing one of seven timing scales for precise programming with durations ranging from 0.1 second up to 100 hours.
The power on delay time function postpones power transfer when the control voltage is applied to the relay. Applications such as automatic hand dryers with motion sensors utilize this format to minimize false starts until a known and required state exists to warrant the initiation of current.
Mike O'Donnell, Magnecraft Product Marketing Manager, says; "The 4-pole capability combined with the small size and price of the TDR782 provide an excellent option for customers that needs to delay the control of multiple circuits."
The TDR782 is available with DPDT and 4PDT contact configurations. This unique offering allows a customer to switch up to 4 circuits using a single relay. To facilitate installation this timer relay utilizes the same socket interface as an industry standard, 4-pole control "ice cube" relay.
The TDR782 is socket mountable and accepts several accessories, including hold down clips and socket modules.
